Middle school students already walk into a classroom uncomfortable with themselves and their environment. I am attempting to close the communication gap that may be present because they are new to this country and as an educator, I can not learn every language that I may encounter. I can imagine how these students will feel when they know they can speak comfortably in their native language and I can reply. I use a translator program to change texts and all of my assignments are on Google Classroom, however, we do not have a teacher that can speak every language at our school. This would allow me to speak to any student.
