I work with students who have intellectual disabilities, from grades second through fifth-grade. In my classroom, I have a wide range of academic levels and individual personalities. Incorporating many opportunities for my students to be successful with the curriculum, I structure my environment, integrating hands-on materials, technology, and kinesthetic activities, that allow each of my students to blossom in their own way, based on their developmentally appropriate needs.
