We have the best kids ever. Our school is surrounded by industrial centers. The majority of students qualify for free lunches and English is their second language. More and more students are coming to school not having attended preschool. Some have not even used crayons and pencils before. Many of the parents are surprised by how much there is to learn in preschool and kindergarten. We also have students who are beginning to read and need to be challenged further. There are 21 students that are 5 years old with a developmental age range of 3-7 years. We are always trying to challenge each student at his/her own level so that he/she can grow.
