My students attend a high school in Southern California. They are eager to learn and read books about places they have never been to. They are hard-working and dedicated. With recent budget cuts, there is less money for books. I encourage my students to become life long readers and promote this by exposing them to books where the characters have a vastly different experience from their own. From reading books, my students learn to appreciate their lives and then work to make their lives better. Education is valuable to them, and I want to be able to offer them the best one possible.

About my class
