The majority of my students come from low income homes, gang infested neighborhoods or live in nearby housing projects. Our school's PI 1 status is in its fifth year. Many students are English learners and struggle to understand many concepts. My students lack access to new technology. With the Kindle, the students have access to the Internet on campus. Students can use the Kindle to access learning websites.
