Your generosity will help my students with the joy of reading while they are stuck at home during this quarantine, since many of my families do not have extra books to read at home. Students will learn a lesson about waiting with Piggie and Elephant. Students will be able to connect with the characters' feelings as they have to wait to get back to school and see their friends again! Waiting is not easy and these books will help to brighten my students' spirits. This book will also help my students to practice reading silently and out loud with their families to improve their reading skills.
