More than 90% of my students are English Language Learners who qualify for free school lunch. They live in a community where they will go to middle and high school with students of higher income and higher parent education levels. My students work hard and are eager to learn. Their parents also work hard, contributing to our community and to our school as much as they can. I want to be sure my students develop English along with the Social and Emotional skills all people need to be successful in school and life.
