I am the Science Teacher at an urban, public elementary school. While other schools are cutting time and funding for Science education, to make more space for reading and math, my school is investing in a science program. Every week I teach hands-on science to all 300 students in the school, grades k-5. My students love learning about their world, engaging in engineering challenges, and working with live animals. My students' curiosity and potential are endless; however, our resources are limited. Please help me provide my students with the robust, engaging, relevant, hands-on science experience they deserve!
