Our school is located in a socio-economically disadvantaged urban center in Southern California. Over 98% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. We have many involved parents and dedicated teachers. The community works together and supports our school in every way possible. I have 15 hard working 4th graders who are currently two years behind in reading. Since the beginning of the year they have made good progress and are steadily gaining ground. My students are fascinated with technology and are highly motivated when we can integrate it into the curriculum.
