Donations to this project will help my students become critical thinkers by participating in an in-depth novel study. They will be able to read a novel as a whole class and participate in classroom discussions while analyzing the text. I will also share the text with two other teachers so the impact of your donation is even greater! The teacher guide, book on cd, play and bean bags will help my students become more well-rounded individuals by including the arts. The skills acquired from this will be forever useful to my students as they continue onto their future education. I really do hope that you find that this project will go to the benefit of all the fifth graders that I will come in contact with over the years to come. It is my goal as a teacher to have my students leave my class as a lifelong reader and someone that enjoys to learn, with the help of your donation.
