My students greatly need a class subscription for Scholastic Magazine (grade 6-9 edition). This magazine connects current events to the 7th grade curriculum while helping students practice their reading skills. This magazine will enhance our learning experience by giving us an interesting resource to get students excited about learning every day. Scholastic Math magazine will help keep students excited about reading nonfiction articles as well as keep them up to date with current events and trends. Many current topics are related to the students real life and this will help make the connection. My students will enjoy making this connection.
