With the new printer I'm requesting, the students will have the opportunity to print the artwork or typewritten passages they have been unable to print. It is important for the students to see their work physically printed. They are concrete thinkers and being able to touch, feel, and later display their work will help them to feel as though they have accomplished something. Our class printer will no longer work due to its age; it needs a new head assembly and the cost is near that of a new one. The students would like the ability to scan and copy their hand drawn artwork and written messages, so a copy may be displayed and the original taken home.
