I teach 25 brilliant, energetic 5th graders. Our school is in an impoverished neighborhood in Los Angeles riddled with obstacles and challenges. In spite of this, my students are in school each and every day highly motivated and eager to learn. Our school is a Title 1 with the majority of our students on a free-lunch program. My students have little or no access to technology outside of school. They need lots of exposure to many things. I would love to help them by showing them many visuals with the help of a laptop.
