Our school is a very special place. We are a K-12 grade pilot school in CA. Bond money was put aside to create a learning complex. The technology-driven Academy's mission is to produce students who are focused on social justice, environmental consciousness and college and career readiness. Our school is located in a very high gang area of CA- we are in the heart of gang territory. Our students view our school as a safe zone from their daily lives outside of our Academy walls. Yoga is not an activity that our students have an opportunity to practice and I would love to teach yoga to all of our grade levels.
