I teach in a Title 1 school, which means not all of my students can afford school supplies, but that does not stop them from showing how uniquely special they all are. Each one comes from a wide range of backgrounds, interests, experiences and challenges. All these things shape who they are as individuals, learners and members in our educational community. As their teacher, it is my job to nurture these individual and diverse learning needs. All my students deserve the individual attention that they need to experience growth and success in my classroom. My students represent the future of our growing city and country and are eager to learn and do their best. I look forward to providing them with a safe, rigorous and comfortable classroom to help them invest in themselves continue their journey into shaping our future.
