We identified the need and we received a start up fund, which supplied our room with shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, face wash, combs, brushes, tooth brushes, tooth paste, and feminine products. To have a 12 or 13 year old look at you and say thank you...and be able to see the gratitude on their faces when they get these basic supplies stays with you a long time. You can see them hold their head higher and walk a little taller. With all of the normal things students have to worry about today the last thing any student should have to worry about is not having shampoo or deodorant. We would like to keep our shelves stocked for them.
