My first grade students are the most enthusiastic learners around. They are eager to learn, and are determined to become fluent readers. Our class is very diverse in needs, therefore, it is important to have small group instruction to be able to differentiate during reading. Our little school is comprised of children from all walks of life. Most of students come from great supportive homes, however, some are very low income or homeless.
