In our 7th grade STEM class we are practicing creating and molding 3D shapes to help us practice geometry and math. We currently only have one 3D printer and I am unable to print all of the awesome objects that my students create. We will add 2 printers with this project to allow us to make all of our 3D object dreams come true. We will use them to create parts of cells, to demonstrate math manipulatives, and create figures for stories. Manipulating 3D shapes in space is an outstanding way for students to visualize objects and prepare them for our higher studies of math and geometry.
