My school is always very special. I teach second grade at a small, rural K-8 school in mid-coast Maine. Children of different ages learn together in a community where they are each known and valued. Although my school struggles with all of the challenges of rural education, kids always come first. Despite leaky roofs, poor heating, and a lean budget, we are proud of our school and especially inspired by our amazing, versatile, students. Thank you for considering my students!
