Welcome to my Donor's Choose home page and thanks for finding my project. I have been teaching at Fairview since the fall of 1988. In the beginning of my career I was moved around the building until an auxiliary gymnasium was downsized to house art and music classes. A wall divided the space and the ceiling was dropped. We were even able to repurpose a sink from an older building. That's where the remodel ended. Imagine storing art supplies and ongoing student work on tall carts meant to hold old televisions and movie projectors. Games and puzzles topple off a way too high and narrow shelf meant for books. Honestly the hallway floor serves as prime space for ongoing sculptures and our recyclable collection boxes. I have been building a wonderful choice based art curriculum thanks to Donor's Choose. I hope you are inspired to donate to my recent or future projects!
