Our school has 200 music students. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch, and most are considered as at-risk. Many students come to the music class without prior knowledge. The are eager to learn and perform for an audience. I teach a beginning band and strings class, an advanced orchestra, World Drumming and "Modern Band". I am a Little Kids Rock Teacher and plan on adding a second "Modern Band" class as an after school program in January.

About my class
