I teach over 90 students science and social studies in a high-need urban school district. My students have already began to embrace scientific concepts and social sciences in our classroom and have begun to connect the things we learn with events and observaitons in their own lives. My students are highly motivated by technology and hands on experiences. My goal is to incorporate this into as many lessons and experiences as possible in order to engage my students and harness their full potential.
