In order for children to learn, they need to be able to pay attention to what is being taught. More and more students are being diagnosed with ADHD. Studies have proven that ALL learners are able to concentrate more easily if they are able to move around some. By having these bouncy bands my students will be able to move around and will be able to release energy while we are in the classroom. The bouncy bands in their chairs allow for movement without disrupting others close by. Moving increase students alertness. An alert student is more willing to participate in classroom activities and will be more successful in school.
