A majority of my students are come from lower income families. Over 90% are receiving free or reduced lunches. They are nevertheless students who want to learn and make efforts to come to school everyday and participate in all my planned activities. Last year 100% of my 10th graders passed the Language Arts CAHSEE portion in their first attempt! It is because of books like The Hunger Games that kids improve thier reading and writing skills and are inspired to become life-long readers and learners.

About my class
