Calling all donors in the interest of teaching valuable lessons of friendship for the "tween" age along side the devastation of the Holocaust. I am a middle school reading teacher educating students living in an impoverished city with few resources to help overcome the deficits. Despite these limitations, my classes are filled with young minds who want to learn and teaching The Boy in the Striped Pajamas will give them the experience of 2 boys who created a bond during an aberrant and impossible time. Not only will they experience a budding friendship, but they will see first-hand some of the tragedies that war brings and how the persecution of any people is wrong. Help me teach them - it will be an experience they will never forget.
