CES 73X is located in the Highbridge section of the South Bronx in New York City. We belong to Community School District 9. District 9 is located within Congressional District 16, which of the 435 Congressional districts has been cited as the poorest in the nation. This is based on median family income. PS 73X represents this socioeconomic population. We are a Title I school where about 90 percent of our students are eligible for free lunch. I am an Academic Intervention Teacher, serving approximately seventy students in different grade levels.
