I am requesting four Chromebooks to support rich and collaborative learning experiences this school year. Our students are capable and eager to use the latest technology to support them educationally. Students will be able to complete and submit assignments digitally with the use of their own Chromebook. If my class receives these four Chromebooks, each student will have their own lap tap to utilize each day. They will benefit from the ability to collaborate efficiently with other learners in their own building and beyond using engaging, content-specific educational apps and websites. If funded, the items being donated will be used daily, if not hourly in school to enhance the learning experience of our students. The positive effect will be many times greater than the initial investment. Imagine the possibilities when using Chromebooks in the classroom community to learn and explore! In unison with teacher-guided instruction, students can let their fingers do the talking and quite literally light up their learning world.
