I am a Special Education Educator. I work with students in an alternative program called SET. (Students Entering Transition)The students that I work with have been deemed difficult to work with in regular educational setting due to their disabilities and have been place in a alternative setting. 100% of the student body qualify for free or reduced lunch. They are a good group of misguided young people that struggle with more than the average adult has to deal with on a daily basis. Despite their difficulties they continue to come to school daily with hope.
