I have 18 first grade students in our Title 1 School which ranges from Transition Kindergarten through 8th grade. My students' ages are between 5 to 7 years old and they are filled with curiosity about our world. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic background and do not have technology or books at home to read nightly. Fifty percent of my students are English as a Second Language Learners.
