My students consist of 22 kindergarteners who attend school all day. They attend a school in Utah with a high ratio of economically disadvantaged students. My students are like other 5 year old's. Their attention span is minimal, so they need to transition often to other learning activities. For many students, this is their first time in a school setting, so they are learning what is expected of them. Listening, following directions, staying on task, and getting along with others are some of the expectations that they practice everyday.
