I teach at a Title I public middle school in an urban community.Ninety-nine percent of the population is of minority descent. My school is unique; it serves students that come from 100 countries throughout the word. An astounding number of languages, 52, are spoken in the student/parent body! Even so, "Fantastic Freedom" is proud of its ability to create a nurturing environment that is founded upon tolerance, appreciation for the other, and unity. I am the ESOL literacy teacher and Freedom Middle School's Robotics Coach. Each year my team (Freebots) participates in the First Lego League (FLL) national competition. We have had great success in the past. In fact, we won the 2017 First Place Champion's Award in our Regional and the Research Project Award in our Super Regional tournaments! We would like to continue the path to excellence, but really need your help. Thank you in advance for your support!
