My students are fourth and fifth graders who participate in a district-wide music program in which they receive two music lessons per week. The students in my class have all chosen to be in choir/general music for the year. We do a variety of activities including singing, rhythm games, and playing classroom percussion instruments. Most of the students do not have any additional musical instruction outside of my class time.
