Our freshmen are part of an initiative to integrate English 9 and World History in a project based learning environment. They are the only students in West Virginia who are currently part of such a program. Being from a rural area with many students coming from a low socio-economic background, these students do not fit the stereotype of low performance. They have risen to the challenges we've given them and excelled!
