I have recently attended a virtual conference for Kindergarten and first grade teachers. I am VERY interested in promoting character and growth mindset more consciously in my classroom. I have touched upon both, but this conference has given me in-depth tools to make it happen! Building character is important. It is important how we treat each other both in our classroom family and at home. A growth mindset is another skill that I think is extremely important. It is better to praise a child's action of effort vs. how smart they are. Building Character and promoting a Growth Mindset is so important. These will not only promote growth now but as life long learners. Having these skills will give them a strong basis as they grow and become adults. By donating, you will be helping me build my classroom library with these wonderful books to help me teach these concepts easier. Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
