My predominantly low-income African American students attend a school that replaces uncertainty and doubt with a direct path to college. All students at our school are prepared to attend college through a rigorous series of classes and exceptional extracurricular activities. Our school educates its students both academically and emotionally. Through a program called A Disciplined Life, students learn how to maintain perseverance and strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Students at our school are truly loved by their teachers. That love is expressed through an unrelenting, unabashed demand for excellence. With an emphasis on critical thinking skills and literacy, our school prepares its students for a College for Certain future.
