Maple Elementary is an open-concept school is South Seattle. All of the Maple Monarchs work hard each day to live and learn the Maple Way. This is done by demonstrating kindness, safety and responsibility in all actions. In room 40 we spend a lot of time reading and sharing our thinking about text. We do all this complex work while sitting in a circle on the floor. We would love to have a bright, clean and comfortable carpet to help cushion our brains and bums. The students who work in room 40 are first, second and third graders. focusing on Reading and Math skills.
