We are an all-girls high school serving girls who have not been given a real chance in other schools. The majority of our students are from minority backgrounds. 50% of our students are pregnant or parenting teens, and struggle with the challenges of being a young mother as they strive to make a better life for themselves and their children. Our students have been traditionally overlooked in the educational system but deserve the same access to education as all other students. We follow the Big Picture model, which is designed to give a well balanced education that capitalizes on the students' own personal interests. We are highly individualized, and allow our students the opportunity to get out into the real world and see how their learning connects to real life.
