Our school is a Title I public school in the San Francisco Bay Area. My students are first generation Americans of Mexican descent who come from poor, working class families that struggle to help their children break through socioeconomic barriers. My students' parents foster the importance of hard work and dedication to their studies in hopes to give them an opportunity to achieve the American dream.
