My students are attending a Title 1 school. Many come from homes that face challenges that are very difficult. They worry about where their next meal comes from...not if they are popular. They need to be inspired to reach for more and having the equipment to explore science not just read about it. These hands on materials will help to inspire these students and develop a love of science that help them in the future. Science is quite boring when all you get to do is read...it means so much more to discover that knowledge by doing the experiments and actually seeing the results!

About my class
