Our school population is highly diverse and over 50% of the students receive free and reduced priced lunches. The new students that move in during the year are often lacking the necessary school supplies to be able to fit in to the learning environment. It is hard enough moving, but then having to adjust to a new learning environment inadequately prepared is impossible.
