My students are 5th and 6th graders from the Walker River Paiute Tribe who bring rich cultural perspectives, resilience, and incredible enthusiasm to our school community. They are deeply passionate hands-on learners who love exploring interesting, real-world topics, creating artistic crafts, and engaging in sports, where their teamwork, athleticism, and competitive spirit truly shine. What makes our classroom special is our strong sense of belongingness; it is a warm, inclusive space where students feel safe to express themselves, support one another, and celebrate each other's growth every day.
