These books will help 11-year-olds continue their love for reading. As seen in the class library, the books are constantly checked out. There are students who have checked out a book multiple times. It's hard to keep the shelves stocked. By investing in these books and providing students with rich literature, these 6th graders are exposed to quality reading - ultimately increasing their individual love for literacy. The books chosen are highly reviewed books on both Amazon and Goodreads. Each one of the books has been reviewed at 4.5 or 5 stars out of 5 stars. Four of the books picked have received an award. These are great books to include in a class library as they are widely reviewed as a must read by readers and scholars alike.
