Our children are from diverse cultures and many are not exposed to physical activities which will enhance their educational and physical development. The school has nearly 600 students from K-5 speaking six languages and it is often difficult for them to communicate verbally. I find that they are encouraged and are enthusiastic when they are in the gym because they can follow directions more easily. Limited equipment lessens the progress they should make during their time in elementary school.

About my class
