My students are English Language Learners coming from different Hispanic backgrounds. Not only do they face the pain of coming to a new country, but also they face the challenge of a new culture and language. Coming to a new school with a different atmosphere is very difficult. Not only are they adolescents facing peer pressure, but they are now facing a whole new world. Language, customs, traditions, challenges, all these traits affects behavior, but if on top of that you add a language barrier, the obstacles increase.

About my class
