I have a terrific group of second grade students. Our school is a Title One school with one hundred percent free lunch this year. My kids show up every day ready to learn. They are attentive from our early morning character lessons until we close the day with social studies. Our school district is struggling with improving math scores, and our school is no different. Many students lack the basic knowledge of number sense and don't have computers at home to use to practice our new program.

About my class
