I have 23 first and second graders. I have at least 5 different languages spoken in my classroom. I have autistic children and others diagnosed with ADHD. My second graders were my first graders from last year. Our high poverty school appreciates donations that allow our kids to create in an artistic way. This fluency project will motivate my reluctant readers to read and share their thinking. Piggie and Elephant are excellent characters to practice reading with expression!
