My students are an incredible bunch of kiddos. My classes range from 10-16 students. In our science, math and English classes I utilize technology and the design process to get students involved and excited about their learning. Throughout all of that we are building vocabulary and the ability to work as a team. The new Common Core standards (and also the 21st Century job market) ask students to be technologically proficient. Our students are eager and able. Unfortunately, students with learning differences and language deficits are still so often de-prioritized by our schools. I'm working to help grow my students' abilities to consider, discuss and solve problems.
