My students are motivated to learn. However, most of them are below reading level. The majority of my student qualify for free and reduced lunch and need the opportunity to increase their literacy and read! Books will open doors of opportunities for my students helping them become literate, educated adults! I teach 30 fourth graders who have many different interests. One thing they all love is success. By providing them with materials for a listening center they will be able to hear the words they cannot say.
