Your generosity is touching our classroom in ways that are hard to put into words. The rug you provided is becoming the heart of our room, a soft, welcoming place where my students gather to learn, listen, and simply feel safe. It's where hesitant voices become brave enough to share, they sit shoulder to shoulder for stories, and children who often feel overwhelmed finally have a calm, comforting space to land. Watching them settle onto it, more focused, more peaceful, and more connected has brought joy to my heart.\r\nThe writing materials you donated are changing the way my students experience learning. For some of them, this is the first time they've held a pencil that truly fits their hands. The triangular pencils and alternative tools give them confidence they've never felt before. The markers turn writing into something joyful instead of overwhelming. Seeing their faces light up when they realize, \"I can do this,\" is a moment of pride I wish you could witness.\r\nBecause of you, my students feel supported, seen, and capable. You have given them tools that honor their needs, their growth, and their individuality. Your kindness is bringing hope, comfort, and opportunity into our classroom every single day, and we are deeply, sincerely grateful for the difference you are making in their lives.","fullyFundedDate":1758899181631,"projectUrl":"project/little-learners-big-growth-tools-for-s/9664649/","projectTitle":"Little Learners, Big Growth: Tools for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Myers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9736879"},{"teacherId":3524076,"projectId":9179646,"letterContent":"I want to begin by thanking you for your generous donations. It meant a lot to me as well as my students. Knowing that there are people out there who are rooting for us to teach and learn fills our hearts with so much joy. The money you donated allowed us to receive materials and games to build literacy skills. The games encouraged them to read, build words, and write. In a fun way. I worked with children from prekindergarten all the way to fifth grade. \r\n\r\nI want my students to know that they can learn by playing games and having fun. And that is what you were able to provide. The best thing is that with your donations, the materials can be used for coming years so the number of children your donations will impact will continue to grow. Thank you for helping teachers and children with your donations. The amazed expressions of my students when they received the donations almost brought me to tears.","fullyFundedDate":1746729287430,"projectUrl":"project/literacy-and-cooperative-learning-games/9179646/","projectTitle":"Literacy and Cooperative Learning Games","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Castro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3524076_orig.jpg?crop=2133,2133,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742254982070","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3524076"},{"teacherId":173869,"projectId":9098720,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation. I am so grateful to have donors like you to support me and my students to help create wonderful moments like this. Although it was funded towards the end of the school year, we were still able to utilize the laminator, and the cutting board for end of the year projects. \r\n\r\nThe students that benefited ranged from kindergarten to second graders in a special education classroom. It is extremely important to immerse them in hands on activities. We were able to create learning activities that supported both ELA exercises and math activities. The students had them in centers and were able to retrieve them often and work on them independently to reinforce any learning that was done prior, such as counting and one to one correspondence. \r\n\r\nBecause we were able to laminate and make it great, it will truly last forever. So now, the incoming class that I will receive next school year will quickly benefit from your generosity. My female students here at this elementary school have so many responsibilities to adhere to while in school, helping them out with this one thing is so huge. \r\n\r\nBecause it is an elementary school, we do not really make a big showcase out of the women's female cycle and all that it entails. However, at this age, some children won't have it until years later, some may already have it and some may find out about it during their schooling years here. \r\n\r\nIn any case, I am here as a support. I provide the discreet help that is needed by making the products readily available in my space. This will help them avoid possible embarrassment as well as a safe space to go to with a trusted adult. And because the materials can be used over and over again, my students next year and hopefully years to come will be able to benefit from them as well. Thank you so much. This thank you is from my students as well. When I told them that we received all of the materials from you, strangers to them and our community, they were in shock. \r\nMy goal for this school year is to teach kids literacy skills but I wanted to do it in a fun way. All of the materials you gave money to provide helped me to do this. Some of the students appeared to never have rolled a dice or put together puzzle pieces. It was a new experience for some of them. I have this one class with students who struggled to not only put a puzzle together but they couldn't work together. But when I watch them today, I am amazed at how much they have grown. A puzzle that took them 25 minutes to put together in October with so much struggle, now takes them 10 minutes and they work together.
