It's been a year of change. I am back in the classroom after a few years of being in the nonprofit world. I started the school year teaching first grade but due to low student numbers was transferred to a new school one month into the school year. I am now teaching seventh-grade English / Language Arts at a small town middle school in North Carolina. We are at a rate of 33% free or reduced lunch with some students not having access to outside educational resources and opportunities. Your help with these grants will ensure that my students receive the items they need to capture their interest and prepare them for their future.
